Then he mocked himself by saying, “In red and green, I look like one of Santa’s Elves.” Then he stated that the unfinished Batman production had a lot of vanity in it and it was sure that the film was not gonna happen.

Besides, the executive producer Michael Uslan explained that his version of Batman did not contain the role of Robin and it would have excluded that character completely.

Initially, everyone refused to take the comic book characters seriously. All studios kept it as a comic character instead of giving a serious role to the characters.

It was changed from the year 1989 when Burton released his super hit film, Batman. Gradually many superheroes appeared in the entertainment industry and it paved the way for big-budget superhero movies like Batman by the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recently released Batman which starred Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne is one of the darkest versions of the superhero.
