After revealing that Susie is his new girlfriend, Clayton dumped the other two finalists Rachel and Gabby in Iceland. Rachel and Gabby sat down with the host Jesse Palmer to confront the breakup at the After the Final Rose special.
Gabby and Rachel both started sharing their feelings on their experience with Clayton.
Rachel opened up how much in love she was with Clayton. She was furious about how Clayton didn’t even show the courage to break up with both her and Gabby separately.
She admitted that Clayton really broke her heart at the Rose ceremony. She kept talking about how Clayton won her trust and never gave her a single reason to think that it wasn’t her.

Rachel blames herself for being blindsided and recalled the whole breakup felt like an out-of-body experience.
“I said this from the beginning, I told him, I told his family and my family, I’ve never felt the way I felt for him,” she continued. “For me when I’m truly in love I feel like you need to fight for that person. And I fought all the way to the end way past the point I thought I could go personally… I truly believed it was me.” Rachel elaborated.
Further, the host asked if Rachel loves Clayton now and the reply was a firm no, but with watery eyes. She started out by saying none of the emotions she expresses is for Clayton but for herself. It was complete disrespect from Clayton’s side and he was faking it the whole time, said Rachel. Rachel doesn’t have feelings for Clayton after all this rollercoaster ride she’s been through.
Clayton appeared on the stage after a while and Rachel confronted him opening up about how disrespectful he turned out to be with her and Gabby. Clayton being the culprit approached Rachel’s confronting apologetically.
Clayton admitted that he also had gone through a lot of pain the past few days. He repeatedly said that he should have taken a step back, should have asked more questions, and shouldn’t have made more assumptions. “I want you to know that I am incredibly sorry. I really am, you shouldn’t have had gone through any of that,” Clayton added.
Clayton previously convinced Gabby to stay in Iceland who declined a rose and Gabby, 30 expressed her frustration to Clayton after their breakup.
