The 30-time Primetime Emmy nominated dark comedy crime series Barry is all set to air this April. The teaser is out on Youtube where Barry Berkman (Bill Hader) seeks a second chance trying to untangle himself from all his wrongdoings and go full fledge into acting.
But nothing comes easy and everything comes with a price. Barry is aware of the loose ends he created and is never gonna make it easy on himself. Barry seems to be unraveling the mess he has made in the coming season. HBO is trying to keep the audience captivated while the two-time Emmy winner Hader, playing Barry, tries to get out of his bad side.

The teaser starts with a glimpse of season 2, in which Monroe Fuches (Stephen Root) reveals that Barry was the one who killed Janice Moss (Paula Newsome) who was a detective to Gene Cousineau (Henry Winkler). Henry plays Barry’s acting coach Gene and the news really disturbs Gene as Janice was his love interest.
The teaser continues with Barry admitting, “We’ve both done terrible things in our lives, but I believe you can be the version of yourself that you want to be.” In the upcoming season, while Barry cuts all his loose ends eliminating many who pushed him towards chaos, he realizes soon that it’s not enough.
All the other characters also seek answers and try to make the right choices. “Forgiveness has to be earned,” says the character NoHo Hank, played by Anthony Carrigan who is Barry’s criminal associate.
Barry is an American dark comedy crime TV series whose first season premiered on March 25, 2018. The series is created by Alec Berg and the titular Bill Hader himself. Other than Bill, the show hosts the series regulars Sarah Goldberg, Stephen Root, Henry Winkler, and Anthony Carrigan.
Barry, played by Bill Hader is a discharged Marine from Cleveland who was forced by circumstances to be a hitman. The lonely hitman once gets hired to kill a target in Los Angeles and finds himself getting inspired by an acting community. The story lets us through the life of the hitman who tries to drop his previous life and start afresh pursuing acting.
Seasons one and two bagged a total of 30 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, winning six of them. Bill bagged a back-to-back award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a comedy series for the two seasons. Also, Henry Winkler was chosen as the Outstanding Supporting Actor in Emmy 2018. Barry has received critical acclaim for its splendid script and humorous character display.
Season 3 of the dark comedy is set to air on 24th April, 10 p.m. ET on HBO.
