Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren are set to reunite on the Mosquito Coast in the forthcoming Yellowstone prequel series 1932, according to Paramount+. On Tuesday, the streaming service revealed that the Hollywood titans would star in Taylor Sheridan’s new series, which will debut digitally in December.
The Yellowstone franchise was created by Kevin Costner and Kelly Reilly, with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill assuming the main parts in the 1883 origin story of the Dutton family seeking a new life through the Great Plains on their route to Montana.

Yellowstone premiered on the Paramount Network with a record-breaking season 4 run that garnered an average of 11 million total viewers. The fifth season of the show was just renewed. In addition to their impending roles in 1932, Ford and Mirren previously co-starred in The Mosquito Coast, a 1986 film based on Paul Theroux’s novel about a father who transfers his family to a Central American jungle to start a new utopian existence.
The book was eventually converted into an Apple TV+ streaming series starring Justin Theroux and Melissa George. In December 1932 will launch on Paramount+.
