Downton Abbey actor Allen Leech revealed on the red carpet that he and his wife are expecting their first child. Alan, who portrays Tom Branson in the historical drama series, and his wife, actress Jessica Blair Herman, posed together at the premiere of the new Downton Abbey film.
Julian Fellowes developed and co-wrote Downton Abbey, a British historical drama television series set in the early twentieth century. The series premiered on ITV in the United Kingdom on September 26, 2010, and on PBS in the United States on January 9, 2011, as part of its Masterpiece Classic anthology.

The pair married in California’s Santa Ynez Valley, with his TV co-stars Michelle Dockery and Dan Stevens in attendance, as well as Rami Malek.

Downton Abbey has gained critical praise and multiple awards, including a Golden Globe for Best Miniseries or Television Film and a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Miniseries or Movie. Guinness World Records named it the most critically praised English-language television series of 2011.
