Dame Deborah James, the inspirational journalist, and renowned author died of bowel cancer on Tuesday. She was diagnosed with cancer at 35, and after fighting for long five years, she died at age 40.

Dame Deborah James, so-called BowelBabe, was a British mum of two, was receiving end-of-life care at home, raised jaw-dropping fundraising in earnest, now topping an astonishing $11.83 million.
For raising such a huge fund, William and Kate honored Deborah personally by visiting her parent’s home. William and Kate have shared their tribute to the brave journalist and they said that she was a gem and will be remembered by millions for her unconditional charities and other notable activities.
Her husband, Sebastien Bowen, and their two children, Eloise and Hugo, described Deborah as simply amazing and highly inspiring.
The family shared the sad news of the demise of the former teacher by sharing a post on Instagram. In the post, they announced she was the most amazing daughter, sister, wife, and mummy. They added that Deborah passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving ones and family.
Weeks before her death, Dame Deborah James thanked her husband Bowen for his deep care and firm support. She said that he was her ‘utter rock’ and she loved him much.
Heather James, Deborah’s mother, shared a series of snaps of her loving daughter on social media, right after Deborah’s death and she captioned the post, “I hold a broken heart, my love is gone forever”.
Genevieve Edwards, the Chief Executive at Bowel Cancer UK, said he was very grateful for her work, and she was a powerful patron for Bowel Cancer in the United States.
She stood strong after being diagnosed with bowel cancer and did tireless campaigns to raise awareness of bowel cancer symptoms that she thought would save countless lives.
Days prior to her death, she shared a post on her private ‘Bowelbabe’ account that her body was not able to continue anymore. During her last stages, she launched a new fund, named Bowelbabe fund to raise the money for cancer patients’ personalized needs and medicines.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge donated a notable amount to her Bowelbabe fund and praised her efforts for giving hope to many with the disease.
Deborah, 40, was invited as a guest in a TV show, and she wholly utilized the show for sharing the awareness of Bowel Cancer and its symptoms. That one single show helped many to know about this terrible disease.

Ms. Teresa, who later recovered from her bowel cancer, thanked Deborah’s family from her heart.
Deborah was treated throughout for her bowel cancer at The Marsden, and she appreciated the medical team as ‘heroes’ for the countless care they showed to her.
