With the announcement of the removal of two films by Warner Bros., one being the first solo film of bat girlthe second being a Scoob! animated sequel, it’s a good time to see what other infamous films were filmed and completed, but never saw the public. Without further ado, here are five movies made and never released…
5. All American Massacres
Going by the list of films made and never released, one would think that a short film based on the highly acclaimed original Chainsaw Massacredirected and written by the franchise creator’s son would have no trouble securing funding or finding a distributor.
Conceived in 1998 by William Hooper as a prequel/sequel to a sixty-minute short film, with Bill Mosely returning to his Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 role of Chop Top, it was meant to be a sort of monologue with Chop Top reminiscing about his family’s bloody, gory past, before unleashing one final slaughter. It hasn’t seen the light of day yet and it’s increasingly likely that it won’t be released.

4. Don plum
More of an improv film than a feature film, it apparently painted the now-known names in a negative light. Whether it’s feminization, fights, or other such antics, both stars have their lawyers involved, and as such, we won’t see the movie in particular, no matter how badly we want to. .
The supposed reason the lawyers were involved was that Tobey and Leo appeared as a favor to a friend thinking they were in some sort of short film, rather than a longer, almost documentary improv film.
3. Motherfucker Blues
Another documentary, another injunction. Filmed in 1972, the documentary followed the Rolling Stones on their first US tour since a fan was attacked and killed around three times before. Again, fearing the documentary would portray them in a negative light, they called in their attorneys. Supposedly featuring drugs, debauchery and more than arguably the Rolling Stones are well known for, the film is only allowed to be seen in archival form, no more than four times a year, and only when the creator is present. So while you’re more likely to see this than the other projects, it’s not that likely.
2. Fantastic Four by Roger Corman
Perhaps one of the most infamous movies made and ever released; In 1993, Roger Corman then owned the rights to Marvel’s First Family. In what some see as a decision to retain the rights, more than actually intending to release the film, Corman filmed and marketed the film, with the cast appearing at Comic-Con among other things to discuss and promote the film. . Even trailers were released and the hype was supposed to be there, but nothing came of it.
Many years later, it emerged that instead of playing around with the system to keep the rights longer, Corman was paid by former Marvel Studios head, and at the time creative director Avi Arad. to destroy all copies of the film, the reason being that he thought the film would harm the franchise.

1.Batgirl
The most recent entry on this list and perhaps the most surprising entry of movies made and ever released. News broke that the last, nearly completed entry in the DCEU has been completely removed and removed from its mailing list by Warner Bros. Costing the bulk of $90 million, plagued by production issues due to COVID, and having less than favorable showings in June, it looks like we won’t be seeing Batgirl’s first solo outing, either in theaters or on the originally planned HBO Max.
