dead Pool Star Ryan Reynolds has revealed he’s getting back into superhero shape for the Marvel antihero’s upcoming arrival in the MCU.
Following Disney’s acquisition of Fox Film Studios, the film rights to Marvel characters such as the X-Men and the Fantastic Four returned to Marvel Studios. Deadpool’s association with the former group means Dead Pool 3 will take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Ryan Reynolds recently appeared in footage shared by trainer Don Saladino, revealing the Deadpool actor hitting the gym for the upcoming sequel, possibly suggesting filming on Dead Pool 3 starts soon.
In a recent Instagram post, Don Saladino can be seen accompanying Ryan Reynolds for a workout with the caption “and so it begins…” hinting that the actor is preparing for Dead Pool 3.
To dispel any doubts, Saladino included two emojis – a red dot and a pair of crossed swords, referencing Deadpool’s signature red suit and dual katanas. Although no details are given on what fans can expect from Dead Pool 3Reynolds would only train if the start of production was imminent.

Since the move to Marvel Studios, screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese have worked with Ryan Reynolds on the story and screenplay of Dead Pool 3. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently said that Marvel hopes to raise Dead Pool 3 as they have done with three sequels in other MCU franchises.
