The LMPD investigation focused primarily on Jamarcus Glover and Adrian Walker, as they were believed to operate a nearby pharmacy as a source of drug sales. After an on-and-off two-year romance with Glover that began in 2016, Taylor has been seeing Kenneth Walker since February 2020.
Glover had used Taylor’s address and phone number for various things, including bank statements. Glover, Taylor’s boyfriend, alleged that Taylor was managing his finances in numerous audio recordings of their conversations in prison.
The LMPD issued a search warrant at Taylor’s home due to numerous leads tracing Taylor and potential involvement in the sale of drugs and other illegal substances. The search warrant unequivocally indicates that Glover left Taylor’s apartment in January 2020 with an unidentified package that was allegedly filled with drugs and quickly transported it to a well-known drug store.
