Recently, Zoe Saldana attacked Warner Brothers for ending their $90 million bat girl movie and now she’s supporting Leslie Grace. A source aired her objections to the studio in a post shared to her Instagram Story this Thursday morning.

The star also reposted The Hollywood Reporter’s Instagram Story mentioning a social media post Leslie Grace shared while talking about canning on Wednesday. She shared:
‘To all Batgirl fans – THANK YOU for the love and belief, which allowed me to take the course and become, as Babs said best, “my own fucking hero!” Batgirl for life!”

Leslie Grace Opens Up About Her Film ‘Batgirl’ Getting Canned
The conclusion to take down Batgirl, which was to be released on HBO Max later came after a series of test screenings that were leaked to the public, and studio pundits thought it would hurt the brand’s prospects as they explored streamlining the DC Universe. Leslie Grace stepped out to support after the termination and dropped behind-the-scenes photos along with the film’s production music video.

The actress also expressed her respect, saying she was proud of the film’s directors who were deemed “awful” after test screenings. She wrote:
“Querida familia!” On the heels of recent news regarding our film ‘Batgirl’, I’m proud of the love, hard work and intention that all of our amazing actors and tireless crew put into this film over seven months in Scotland.
“I feel blessed to have worked among some absolute greats and forged lifelong relationships in the process! To all Batgirl fans – THANK YOU for the love and belief, allowing me to set course and become, as Babs said it best, “my own fucking hero!”

In the photos, the actress poses in a purple superhero outfit, wearing a black cape with red hair and a hood over her face. Another photo shows her in blood and makeup, sitting in a tent in costume. Along with a photo showing her unmasked, she also shared another photo from the set of her and another actor running near a large fire.

And in the music video, she joked that Babs, the bat girl character, can twerk as she dances to the song with her co-stars and kisses them. His support for the film came just hours after the makers expressed shock at the film’s ending, saying they wanted the film to be shown to fans around the world.
