Brad Pitt is currently busy promoting his latest action comedy High-speed train which also stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Joey King and Sandra Bullock in major roles. During just one of those promotions, when he was spotted with co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson in an interview, he revealed how he had said no to big projects in the past.
In the interview carried out by BBC Radio 1, the show let the young journalists of the United Kingdom ask questions of the two stars to which one of them asked if they had said no to working in a film in which Brad Pitt cleverly explained the importance of ‘no’ in life:
“’No’ is the strongest word we have, it’s more important what you say no to than what you say yes to. You have to say no 10, 20, 30 times before finding a yes.
Following this, when the host twisted the question a little further to ask if he had any regrets about the movies he had turned down, the actor revealed that he had turned down some major roles. Brad Pitt replied that while he had some big hits, he’s not sure he had any regrets because the actor who ended up making them made the movie their own:
Interviewer: Could you tell me your regrets?
Brad Pitt: I passed on some great hits. No, because whoever actor ended up doing it is theirs
So it seems that although the actor has passed huge roles, he is satisfied with the job he has done.
