Recent steps taken by the new CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslav, caused a stir on the internet and now it seems that even black adam is part of the ongoing fiasco. The new WB boss not only revealed a few big new plans for the studio to implement, but also trashed a nearly completed movie. The studio tidied up the bat girl film after receiving poor test reactions from audiences. But the whole incident has taken quite a turn right now as it is reported that even black adam also received similar test results, but it’s going for a big release, unlike bat girl.

Black Adam received the same score as Batgirl
The reason behind Batgirl is cited as poor audience reactions during the film’s test screening. According to some reports, the Leslie Grace star received a score in the 60s. But it must be remembered that this is the score the film received in an incomplete state. Also after the test screening, a film has to go through several retakes and edits to arrive at the final edit.
A recent chat on Twitter between Fandango’s Erik Davis and The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez revealed various details about the DC Cartel and WB’s plans. In the middle of this conversation only, an important point related to the film was revealed which indicated that even the film The Rock starrer had received the same test score in the 60s:
“Black Adam, the director’s cut of Black Adam, tested the same as Batgirl.”
While some audiences have begun to wonder why this unfair judgment happened when one film suffered and the other did not, a large number of fans are also worried that this film could be removed by WB.

WB canceled bat girl as the first step towards their 10-year plan regarding the DCEU and their vision of setting up a great cinematic universe. But instead, with the removal of a near-completed project, fans are shocked and now fearful of losing more of their favorites. Even though the fans are afraid of black adamit is highly unlikely to be canceled due to major promotions and ongoing preparations for a theatrical release.
The black adam stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and is very close to release. It also cannot be denied that it can be considered a great theatrical event, because many of us are delighted with it, unlike bat girl which was to be released on HBO Max. It also gives a clear picture of the movie cancellation rumors, as even David Zaslav wanted to release big theatrical movies that can make big profits.
So, having summed up all the things, we can say that black adam is in a very good position and does not have a high chance of cancellation. Now, it will be interesting to see if this can provide a stable direction for the DCEU.
