He was born on March 3, 1999 in California, United States. So that makes him 23 years old in 2022. He was very athletic since childhood and always wanted to do something big in sports as an adult.
In 2016, Medeiros entered his first CrossFit competition in the 16-17 age group. Unfortunately, he failed to qualify for the Games and placed 19th. Then, in 2017, he succeeded in the 16-18 age group at the Wodapalooza CrossFit competition held in Miami.
At the California Regional at age 18, Medeiros competed in the individual competition and finished in fifteenth place. Then in 2018 he placed 14th at the West Regional, and in 2019, after placing fourth at the Granite Games, he nearly missed qualifying for the CrossFit Games.
2019 saw Medeiros qualify for the 2020 CrossFit Games by entering the Filthy 150 Sanction for the first time. In 2022, he has already been crowned the fittest man in the world twice. Last year, Medeiros became the youngest man to win the Games aged 22.
