The tweet apparently confirms that the Hobbs & Shaw The actor is indeed working with DC to bring something big. Fans were very impressed with his portrayal of Bloodsport in James Gunn The Suicide Squad (2021). A spin-off about the bloody battle between Bloodsport and Gotham City’s protector Batman would be much appreciated.

Warner Bros. Discovery in the public eye under new management
New chef David Zaslav was the reason behind the canceled $90 million movie Bat girl. The president, however, gave a valid reason why the quality of the film was not up to what he had set in his mind. He also said that he would like to delve more and more into the heart of the DC show, i.e. Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, etc.

It is very likely that Idris Elba will reprise the role of Bloodsport in the upcoming project. He was highly praised and appreciated for his role as Bloodsport in The Suicide Squad (2021) and is a logical option for DC to do now.
