The Mandalorian star Giancarlo Esposito spoke about the star wars the upcoming third season of the series, in which he returns as Moff Gideon.
Giancarlo Esposito first appeared as the villainous Moff Gideon in The MandalorianPedro Pascal’s first season, where he was seen chasing Din Djarin and Grogu. His hunt for Grogu continued into the show’s second season, during which he was eventually captured by the New Republic.
Gideon may not be in captivity for long, as it looks like Giancarlo Esposito is preparing to get stuck in another high-stakes season of The Mandalorian.
While a first trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3 aired this year star wars Celebration in Anaheim, no official preview of the upcoming season has yet been released by Lucasfilm. However, Giancarlo Esposito has promised fans that they won’t be disappointed.
The Moff Gideon actor recently teased an even bigger third season for The Mandalorian – no small boast, given that the second season saw the return of a digitally aged Luke Skywalker to the star wars universe.
Speaking at Thomas J. Henry’s Superhero Car Show & Comic Con, Giancarlo Esposito was asked about his return as Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian Season 3. The actor said:
“I have to tell you, just to share something with you without spoiling anything, that Season 3 of The Mandalorian is off the chain! You will be amazed!
