Stone heart is confirmed to premiere next year’s service fall as part of the MCU’s multiverse saga in Phase 5. Teen genius inventor Riri Williams (If Beale Street Could Talk star Dominique Thorne) is heading to the MCU sooner rather than later. The promotional art and recent trailer of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever showed that Riri will have some sort of role to play ahead of her upcoming Disney+ series. As the cast continues to grow and filming begins, Marvel Studios is doing its best to keep spoilers and the like to a minimum.
Try as they might prevent this stuff, the tabloids don’t shy away from taking pictures. Just below are some first-look images of Riri and Anthony Ramos’ upcoming armor (In the heights and hamilton star) as one of the series’ new antagonists. If you want to look away and stay spoiler-free until the first trailer or wakanda forevernow is your chance to click.
Riri Williams’ Next Mark Armor
Still there? Good. Now first, a batch of photos surrounding the upcoming MK armor that almost looks like his first costume from INVINCIBLE IRON MAN (2015) #7.
The practical costume is a very nice touch. Out of sympathy, here’s a look at Riri Williams’ first Ironheart costume from the comics.
In his comic book debut, Riri made his costume using material stolen from MIT. As the show progresses, we need to get his iconic black, gold, and pink armor by the finale.
New MCU Villain Alert
As for Anthony Ramos, rumors have swirled that he will play the villainous criminal and mystic Parker Robbins aka The Hood. Thanks to JustJared, the rumors were completely correct. Take a look at his costume below.
Short comic history of The Hood
The Hood was created by writer Brian K. Vaughan and artists Kyle Hotz and Eric Powell. First appearance in his first solo comic book miniseries The hood (July 2002), Parker Robbins broke into a warehouse with his cousin one night and shot a demon residing there, killing him. Not wanting to leave empty-handed, he stole the beasts’ coat and boots, allowing him to fly and turn invisible while holding his breath.
Pretty much Ramos’ MCU outfit is comic book-accurate to a T. While The Hood isn’t someone Riri hasn’t faced in the comics before, it will be interesting to see a “Tech vs. Magic” unfold through its continuous journey.
