While we don’t know anything about Henry Cavill’s return to DCEU when blue was still suitable for Kryptonian, constant rumors swirl around the internet about his inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although there is no official Studio update or the witcher actor however, there were several rumors that he would play Mister Fantastic or Captain Britain. He is now rumored to star as one of the X-Men in a Mutants movie. Soon after the rumor spread, fans started wondering which character he should play.

Will Henry Cavill play a mutant in the MCU?
All of these rounds of rumors started when a website called Giant Freakin Robot claimed that Henry Cavill was in talks with MCU. Since then, there has been a mountain of rumors and fan casting. It was recently reported that Henry Cavill could play a potential X-Men character in MCU. According to sources, he is in talks with the Kevin Feige Cartel to play the role of a mutant in MCU. Even though earlier we received solid information that he was approached to play the Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic from the main MCU timeline, but now it looks like we have to wait for any official confirmation.
As rumors of Mister Fantastic dominated the internet, there were also reports that he could star as Captain Britain. Some even said it would look good like Marvel Comics’ Hyperion which is heavily inspired by DC’s Superman. Now that the Mutant rumors have emerged, the internet is divided as fans debate which role would be better, a Mutant or Mister Fantastic.
