Having enjoyed the spotlight earlier this year in the Disney+ series Moon Knight, Oscar Isaac is now showing an active interest in returning to an extraordinary and remarkable series of films of which he was a part. The world saw Isaac as Poe Dameron in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, which marked his first appearance in the popular Star Wars franchise. He was last seen in The Rise of Skywalker. As the Star Wars sequel trilogy continues to divide fans who share mixed feelings about it, one thing they’ve enjoyed and have since yearned for again is Oscar Isaac’s portrayal of Poe Dameron.

There have been plenty of times the actor has been asked about whether or not we’ll see him return to the franchise. His response this time around shows that the actor is always ready for such an opportunity. However, the Dunes the actor has his own requirements which must also be met.

In a recent interview with SiriusXM, it was revealed that the actor has a busy schedule. One that requires him to be in many places around the world. However, this raised a big question because the Ex-Machina The actor was asked which franchise he was most often involved in or associated with when he traveled around the world.

Isaac, who has been involved in magnanimous franchises, responded with the following:
“So I’m here in this kind of, little, you know, little village here [in Denmark]. And they had this little bitty music festival here. And it was surprisingly very young children who were there. Uh, no, but it was like teenagers and all that. It was like people sometimes thought “Star Wars!” STAR WARS!’ They would just scream Star Wars at me.
As we can see, Oscar Isaac is mainly associated with star wars and this is an unprecedented verdict. The actor also pointed out how great this recognition was. Regarding Moon Knight, the actor commented on how much the association with the Disney + series has been a “a bit more”. The actor said it was mostly the “big tent projects” that his fans and the general public generally equate with him.

When the interviewer asked the actor whether or not he had thought about the fact that he could “get to go back” to Poe Dameron, following the recent star wars efforts or if he just lost interest in such considerations, although there is a chance Isaac replied honestly that he had no “true feeling” about it and that he is open to such ideas. He commented:
“I don’t know…I mean, I’m open to anything, you never know. But, uh, yeah. There’s not – I don’t really have a feeling one way or the other. I’m open to any type of good story.
Even if, according to the actor, the main constraint that weighs on his acting decisions is the lack of time. As the star wars alum is getting older, he realizes the challenges of time, especially with having kids and the restrictions of having to fit so many things into a schedule. Therefore, time is the only condition the actor struggles to manage.

To conclude, the actor underlined that if there is a good story, a good director, and if “Cathy [Kathleen Kennedy] came up to me and said, ‘hey, we had this idea'” so Oscar Isaac is definitely open to considering a return to the franchise. Only time will tell if such an idea will materialize or not.
