New Loki Season 2 stills feature Tom Hiddleson, Owen Wilson, and Sophia Di Martino as their MCU counterparts.
Loki is one of the few Marvel Studios shows to get a second season, and filming is underway in the UK for release next summer. The new season will be without Season 1 showrunner Michael Waldron and director Kate Herron, but there will still be plenty of familiar faces in Season 2.
Previous set photos from the second season featured Tom Hiddleston’s Loki taking on Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie outside a ’70s McDonald’s. Just Jared reveal more of this season two footage and the appearance of Owen Wilson as Mobius Mr. Mobius. You can check out photos of the set below.
The story so far…
The show’s first season introduced Jonathan Majors as the MCU’s new big bad in a different form, and left Loki in a new universe where his relationship with Morbius was gone. It was also unclear what Sylvie’s fate was after sending Loki to TVA, but based on these set photos, it’s safe to assume she’ll be a major player in the upcoming season.
Here is the synopsis for the first season of Tom Hiddleston’s Disney Plus series, Loki:
In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) reprises his role as the god of mischief in a new series set after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
