Poe Dameron actor Oscar Isaac has revealed what it would take for him to return to the star wars franchise.
Oscar Isaac last played Poe Dameron in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and the actor seemed quite hesitant to play the character in the future, joking that they couldn’t “Disney Plus” him. Since the departure of star wars franchise, Isaac appeared in Dunesentered the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Moon Knight and voiced Spider-Man 2099 for the upcoming spider worms after.
Will Poe return?
Although he seems reluctant to return as Poe Dameron in star wars, Oscar Isaac might come to the idea now that a few years have passed. There’s a chance Poe could also appear in Patty Jenkins Thieves Squadron or a new Disney Plus project. Here’s what Isaac said to Jess Cagle on SiriusXM when asked about a potential star wars come back:
“Hmm. I don’t know. No, I don’t. I mean, I’m open…to whatever you never know…I don’t have any real feelings one way or the other. other, you know, I’m open to any kind of good story, any good thing to do and time is the one thing that might get a lot harder as you get older and with kids and all that. like, ‘Where do these things fit in?’ Start realizing there’s no time for all this, but if there was a great story and a great director, and Kathy [Kennedy] came up to me and said, “Hey, we have this idea,” you know, I’m so, so open to it.
