“So I haven’t worked for Marvel yet. I’ve been in a room with them and I’ve talked with them, and to answer your question, I think what they do is inspired by that mythological journey that Joe Campbell talked about, who happened to be a friend of George Lucas that George Lucas put in his stories, they do the same thing.
He further added:
“So we talked about Magneto, we talked about Dr. Freeze, we talked about, who else are they talking about over there? Oh, Doom! And there’s Professor X. Pick one? I’m going to go for something a little different. I’m going to go tell the universe that it’s Professor X.
Two more Avengers films have been revealed as part of the studio’s three-year slate. In 2025, audiences will be able to see both Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in theaters.
