John Eastman, Paul’s beloved brother-in-law, has passed away. It is a difficult time for our families and me; we have known each other for more than 50 years. John had a fantastic character. One of the nicest, sharpest people Paul has ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was not only a great lawyer who helped me a lot in my business transactions, but he was also a great friend.
He had an unwavering commitment to his family and his sense of humor permeated everything he did. Over the years we’ve shared a lot of laughs, but when it came to being serious, he was unstoppable. Much more could be written about his extraordinary traits, but words do little justice to his zest for life and our love for this remarkable man.
He will be missed, but those who knew and loved him will always hold him in our hearts.
