Both Adam Scott and Emma Roberts are rumored to play Sony’s main Spider-Man characters. Madame Web film.
In the wake of Morbiusmania, Sony has two more Marvel projects in the works. The studio’s next film will follow Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Spider-Man villain Kraven the Hunter. A Madame Web Dakota Johnson-directed film also filmed in Boston. Now the rumors from Reddit and the cosmic circus could reveal who plays the rest of the cast.
While many have guessed that Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney could play Silver Sable or Black Cat, she will apparently play Julia Carpenter, the second Madame Web in the comics. Celeste O’Connor is rumored to play Mattie Franklin, and Isabela Merced could be Anya Corazo.
The untold story begins again?
The next Madame Web The film will also star Adam Scott and Emma Roberts, and their roles could provide a direct connection to Spider-Man. Scott is rumored to play Ben Parker, while Roberts is Peter Parker’s mother, Mary.
In the comics, Peter’s parents are notably agents of SHIELD, and Madame Web might have an element of that. It also wouldn’t be the first time Sony has attempted to explore Peter’s parents, who played a pivotal role in Andrew Garfield. The Amazing Spider-Man series.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa from a screenplay written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, Morbius stars Jared Leto, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal and Tyrese Gibson. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach produced the project with Lucas Foster, with Palak Patel overseeing it for Sony.
