The 1943 setting from Prime Videos’ “A League of Their Own” offers female baseball players the chance to show off their skills in a league that’s the first of its kind. When Greta kisses Carson on their first night as Peaches, Carson learns for the first time that Greta is attracted to women. This causes Carson to re-evaluate his sexuality, which emphasizes his relationship with Charlie and his rising affair with Greta.
Carson responds in the affirmative when Max asks her if she still loves her spouse. But she also has feelings for Greta. Carson finds being with a man much nicer than Max, who finds it revolting. Max meets Esther, another baseball player, and feels an immediate attraction to her. Max gets a chance to play in a match of Esther and as a result, she joins Red Wright’s team. She can now be the woman she really wants to be because she is a professional baseball player. Her joy says she is living the life she always wanted and always was.
