Devi’s college life has changed in the latest episode of Never Have I Ever. In conclusion, Devi had the opportunity to enroll in the posh boarding school in Colorado, Shrubland. Devi was given the opportunity to enroll in the rigorous gifted college program for a year, which would secure her future.
When Nalini (Poorna Jagannathan) took Devi to see the school, she was initially hesitant but ended up liking it and the people there. Her initial concern was that she didn’t want to miss her best friends’ senior year of high school. She also feared that if she went to Shrubland, she might enroll in college as a virgin.
Devi, however, decided to attend school after visiting Shrubland and witnessing the surroundings. Graduation was a secondary theme in the conclusion of Never Have I Ever. Darren Barnet’s character chart for Paxton Hall-Yoshida throughout the previous season was extremely solid and it helped him gain admission to Arizona State University.
Devi was told by Ben Gross (Jaren Lewison) that he would miss her when he learned she was leaving. Paxton’s story is most likely over at this point. He’s unlikely to hang around in high school for the upcoming season as he’s leaving for college. The narrator also mentioned that Devi hadn’t encountered any butterflies when Paxton addressed her in his speech, suggesting that their relationship was truly over.
After all the young man has been through, it was a satisfying way to end the character’s story.
For season four, all other characters, including Trent (Benjamin Norris), will remain.
