Coleman Laffoon: who is he? about Anne Heche’s ex-husband and how he reacts to her passing
Actress Anne Heche was pronounced dead on Friday August 12, a week after her serious car accident in Mar Vista, Los Angeles on August 5. Heche was sent to Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital soon after the accident, where she spent a week in a coma.
Heche, 53, was taken off life support and pronounced dead. Her ex-husband Coleman Laffoon paid tribute to her on social media after her passing.
Coleman Laffoon opened up about his late ex-wife Anne Heche on Instagram hours after she was pronounced dead. Laffoon promised to be there for the former couple’s young son, Homer, in the video post.
What did her ex-husband Coleman Laffoon say about Anne Heche after her death?
Laffoon said the following in the Instagram raw video:
Hi, Coley here. I just want to say a few things in light of Anne’s passing. First, I miss her and always will since I adore her. Second, Homer is fine. Of course, he’s grieving, and that’s hard. It’s pretty tough, as anyone would surely guess, but he’s supported by his family, strong, and will survive.
Laffoon fought back tears as he expressed gratitude to those who inquired about them and to those who prayed for them. He added:
Although it is difficult for me, my family and especially Homer, we support each other and we support each other a lot, so everything will be fine.
“Anne Heche is free from agony and enjoying or experiencing whatever comes next in her life,” the 48-year-old Cincinnati native said of Anne Heche.
Laffoon went on to mention his involvement in his life and said:
She arrived quickly and talked a lot. She was brave and bold, truly loved us and never shied away from speaking out what she (thought) and believed in. Always, there was love. Love was the central theme.
In Ellen DeGeneres’ American summer documentary, Laffoon worked as one of the camera operators. Coleman and Heche reportedly met while on tour with DeGeneres for her stand-up comedy.
He founded and now owns Coley Laffoon Real Estate.
