Tom Holland bids farewell to social media
Recently, Tom Holland took to Instagram to tell his fans that he was going to take a break from all social media platforms for the sake of his mental health. In the modern age of social media, the ill effects of social media are no stranger to anyone, and it seems Spider-Man’s fame has been its latest victim.

In his video, Holland said he found Instagram and Twitter to be too empowering and overwhelming. He even added that every time he opened the apps, he felt miserable every time he read something about him written there:
“Hi guys. So I’ve been trying to make this video for about an hour now, and for someone who’s been the last 13, 14 years, as long as I’ve been playing… I can’t quite say what that I need to say without ‘um-ing’ and ‘ah-ing’ every five minutes, so I’ll try again I took a break from social media for my sanity, because I find that Instagram and Twitter are too stimulating, overwhelming, I get caught up and spiral when I read things about myself online, and ultimately, it’s very detrimental to my mental state, so I decided to take a step back and to delete the application.
Additionally, in the captions, Tom Holland also mentioned his family’s charity, The Brothers Trust Organization, and another charity supported by them Stem4 Teenage Mental Health Charity which helps those in need of mental support.

Tom Holland will focus more on his career
Tom Holland got more attention recently after starring in the Marvel Blockbuster Spider-Man: No Coming Home which is now considered more of a once-in-a-lifetime moment than just a movie. His relationship with his MCU co-star Zendaya is also a major reason he’s on the public notice. Now it looks like the 26-year-old wants to focus more on his career and his life instead of paying attention to any unnecessary negativity.
According to upcoming plans, the actor is currently working on the Apple TV+ series. The crowded room. Additionally, he is also set to star as dancer and actor Fred Astaire in a biopic that is in development. Following these projects, the actor would also have starred in upcoming Spider-Man films under the MCU umbrella.
