The cast and crew of You better call Saul won big at the HCA TV Awards. The 2nd Annual Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards were held at the Beverly Hilton and saw many deserving winners take home their prestigious awards. The Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) recognized and honored several television programs at the event, including You better call Saul, Barry, White Lotus, and Abbott Elementary School, among others. For You better call Saul, Bob Odenkirk received the award for Best Actor in a Cable Drama Series. After the awards show, fans are now looking forward to seeing the actor conquer the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, which will be held on September 12, 2022.

Big win for Better Call Saul at the HCATV Awards
Not only Bob Odenkirk, but cast members Rhea Seehorn and Giancarlo Esposito were also honored with prestigious awards for their impeccable performances in the breaking Bad spin off. The show itself received Best Cable Series, Drama. As for Seehorn, who was seen as Kim Wexler, the actress won Best Supporting Actress in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Drama.
Esposito, who plays Gus Fring in both breaking Bad and the spin-off, received two awards at the HCATV Awards, namely the TV Icon Award and the Best Supporting Actor in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Drama Award. The show’s cast and crew gave the HCA TV Awards a clean sweep, leading fans to believe the same would happen at the 2022 Emmys.

Regarding the Emmy nominations won by the breaking Bad spinoff, the series is nominated for Best Drama Series, Bob Odenkirk for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and Rhea Seehorn for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Besides these main nominations, the production team of the series was also selected in four other categories and are eligible to win them as well.
