Shazam! Fury of the gods director David F. Sandberg has shared a snippet of the DCEU film’s score.
Right now, the DCEU has two new movies slated for release this year. The first is black adam, and the second is Shazam! Fury of the gods. The latter film is a sequel to the 2019 origin story directed by David F. Sandberg and stars Zachary Levi as the titular superhero alter-ego of Billy Batson (Asher Angel).
The highly anticipated DCEU sequel also has a new composer in the person of Christophe Beck, known for his scores for a few projects from Marvel Studios and two from Disney. Frozen movies. Beck steps into the role that Benjamin Wallfisch previously held, and director David F. Sandberg has just shared a thrilling clip from an orchestra recording the score for Shazam! Fury of the gods.

This new score by Christophe Beck seems to lend itself well to a whimsical coming-of-age adventure that evokes the similar tones brought by Amblin’s films of the 1980s. It will certainly be exciting to see it all on this music, in especially during the more mystical action sequences.
Directed by David F. Sandberg from a screenplay written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan, Shazam! Fury of the gods stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, DJ Cotrona, Grace Caroline Currey, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Marta Millans, Cooper Andrews, Djimon Hounsou, Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu , and Helen Mirren.
