As for the antagonists, it looks like Marvel would like to refocus Doctor Doom, however, a different theory states that Galactus may be the movie’s next villain.

Galactus vs. Doctor Doom: Who’s the best villain?

It’s always a tough decision to choose who is the best villain for the story. Based on the confirmed titles and details, Kang the Conqueror will play a major role in the upcoming MCU Phases 5 and 6. It was revealed that Kang would be the main antagonist of the Avengers movie, Avengers: Kang Dynasty.

That leaves us with a sweet spot on the antagonistic throne in Avengers: Secret Wars. It’s highly unlikely that a linear plot will be followed from the comics by the folks at Marvel Studios HQ, but given the comics, it’s none other than Doctor Doom who has a key role in the books.

It’s always Marvel’s style to set up the mood of the main antagonist in multiple films. To appear in several films throughout the timeline before making a big appearance in the saga finale. Thanos was first seen in avengers (2012) in a post-credits scene and was referenced and shown until its demise in the Infinity Saga finale, Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Considering the comics, it’s very likely that Doctor Doom will be set in the grand finale of the Multiverse Saga. It must therefore be in The Fantastic Four movie which will be released in 2024. But, another theory states that Galactus should be the main antagonist of the finale since he is a much more powerful entity in the universe.
It was a glimpse of Galactus that fans got to see in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Silver Surfer was a servant of Galactus, which makes Galactus the main antagonist to fear. Eating planets to survive, Galactus is a cosmic entity that originated with the creation of the universe. It’s unconfirmed who the antagonist will be (rooting for Galactus) but given that Marvel is taking care of the timeline, it’s sure to be a fun watch.
The Fantastic Four is slated for a November 8, 2024 release date.
