Hwang Dong-hyuk spices up Gi-Hun in Squid Game’s second season

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the director talked about the character of Gi-Hun and what awaits him in the second season of Squid game. He also said that he won’t let the fan reactions of the first season affect the plans he has for the second season-
“I’ve seen a lot of reactions from people about the show, but I don’t want to make season two a response to those reactions. The philosophies that I put into the first season all extend naturally to season two. Instead of trying to live up to viewers’ expectations, I just thought about the last moment when Gi-hun turned away from boarding, and thought about what he was going to do. do next. There will naturally be a stream of events leading up to the end of the season.
