A new photo from the set of Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man spin-off Madame Web reveals that Marvel’s most infamous newspaper, the Daily Bugle, will feature in the film.
The details of Madame Web have so far been kept under wraps, but as set photos and new rumors continue to surface, it’s becoming increasingly clear that the film will be more closely tied to Peter Parker’s life than previous spin-offs. -offs from Sony Spidey, Venom and Morbius.
The latest element of Spider-Man’s world to be spotted Madame Webwas the logo for J. Jonah Jameson’s Spidey-bashing newspaper, the Daily Bugle.
Most recent Madame Web the set photo shows a Daily Bugle van passing a restaurant frequented by Peter Parker in the comics.

While a recent batch of set photos confirmed the film would feature Peter Parker’s former haunt, the 4 Star Diner, this latest image shows a Daily Bugle van driving past the restaurant. In addition to the Daily Bugle logo, the van sports the web address “www.thedailybugle.com” – a website which, at present, simply shows comic book illustration of Spider-Man and the Green Goblin.
Interestingly, the Daily Bugle logo featured on the van does not match the logo seen in the past Spider Man movies. Venom: let there be carnage and Morbius both used the Daily Bugle logo seen in Sam Raimi Spider Man movies, which featured a different typeface and bugle image.
In the midst of uncertainty over Madame WebIn the Marvel Multiverse, this logo may suggest the film is set in a whole new continuity. Alternatively, with sets recreating early 2000s New York having been photographed, this logo could simply be an earlier version of the Daily Bugle logo in one of three pre-existing live-action. Directed by Daniel Espinosa from a screenplay written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, Morbius stars Jared Leto, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal and Tyrese Gibson. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach produced the project with Lucas Foster, with Palak Patel overseeing it for Sony.
