On August 17 at 8 p.m. ET, Lifetime will air the seventh episode of Married at First Sight, season 15. In the next episode, a couple’s relationship with their pet dogs may be about to end.
The next episode of Married at First Sight, Real Life Reckoning, has the following plot summary:
“The couples move into their new apartment together; Pastor Cal comes to help; while one couple takes their relationship to the next level, another must deal with a horrific encounter with a dog that threatens to destroy their marriage.

Married couples from the latest Married at First Sight program will move into their apartments together to begin living as husband and wife in an authentic setting.
While every couple looks forward to a fresh start, Justin and Alexis, who are also dog parents, might not have the best start. Alexis moves in with Justin, but after Justin’s dog attacks and hurts Alexis’ dog, things get worse.
In the private area, Justin says:
“I can’t wait to start this new chapter with you. There will be a lot of joy soon. The only thing that really worries me is Maya’s reaction to her dog, I think.
When Alexis asks how he intends to present the dogs, he responds as follows, which unfortunately confirms his fears:
“Normally you’re supposed to give people time to adjust so they get used to each other. Usually two alphas get along.
Instead, Maya, Justin’s dog, attacks Alexis’ dog and injures her eye when the dogs know each other. Justin feels both terrified and heartbroken by this. In the meantime, Alexis informs Pastor Cal:
“He never revealed to me that Maya got into a lot of dogfighting. I won’t be with Justin because I won’t be anywhere I don’t feel safe.
In his defense, Justin said he kept Maya’s background secret out of concern for her marriage, which he didn’t want to end because of his pet.

The synopsis for episode 6 is as follows:

In this episode, the boys went to taste tequila and talked to their partners about their equation. The girls discussed their upcoming weddings as they sat by the ocean.
Alexis revealed to the girls that she struggled to deal with Justin’s emotional side, while Morgan spoke candidly about their developing relationship. Miguel and Lindy have officially ended their relationship, according to Lindy.
Stacia, meanwhile, said that while she and Nate haven’t gotten there yet, they’re definitely enjoying their time together. Krysten also spoke openly about their continued efforts to make things work and Mitch’s temporary lack of physical attraction to her.
The guys also discussed their interactions with their partners and how their relationship is progressing day by day.
Then, at supper, all the pairs came together. Alexis accidentally revealed that she loves Justin and will make sure he’s taken care of during a discussion about how things would be different if they moved in together. Justin was thrilled with the mistake because he had waited for it to happen.
