New York Fashion Week’s preliminary schedule for September 2022 has been released by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
The Proenza Schouler show opens New York Fashion Week on September 9, 2022, at 4 p.m. On September 14, 2022, at 8 p.m., Tom Ford’s performance will put an end to everything. New York Fashion Week is scheduled to coincide with IMG’s NYFW: The Shows Project.

Spring Studios will once again serve as the focal point for New York Fashion Week, which runs September 9-14. Performances will take place at New York locations in addition to Spring Studios. CFDA Chief Executive Steven Kolb said in a press release:
“The city itself and how it continues to inspire our artists is one of NYFW’s strengths. A base of shows will continue to take place in Spring Studios, but designers will also continue to exhibit in other distinctive New York spaces and neighborhoods.
More than 109 confirmed designers and labels are listed in the CFDA’s preliminary program, including Michael Kors, Coach, Gabriela Hearst, Brandon Maxwell, Christian Siariano, Dion Lee, Interior, Barragan, Altuzarra, and more.
After a brief absence, companies like Tommy Hilfiger, Puma and Area are returning to New York Fashion Week. In the aforementioned press release, Steven Kolb talks about the September show and the CFDA’s participation in it. He pretends:
“September shows the continued success of the CFDA and the meaningful exposure NYFW gives brands. This season has the most diversity in NYFW history with notable overseas talent, returning designers, first shows and our finalists from the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
On September 11, 2022, at 7 a.m., Hilfiger will launch its line at Skyline Drive-In in Brooklyn and a different metaverse. On September 13, 2022, at 9 p.m., a Furtrograde fashion show featuring music, sports and fashion will debut the Puma line.
Newcomers to NYFW include Ashlyn, Foo & Food, AnOnly Child, Midnight Studios, LoveShackFancy and Tia Adeola.
Marni, Fendi and Cos. are just a few of the many international companies that will be featured this week on September 9, 10 and 13, respectively.
The rules established by the New York State Department of Health will be followed at all fashion events. The events will be broadcast on Runway 360, the CFDA’s business tool and digital hub, in addition to being presented live.
