France and Europe: “Jawbreaker” actress Rebecca Gayheart and her ex-husband Eric Dane, 49, who appeared in “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Euphoria,” have gotten back together. The family were spotted vacationing in Europe. After getting married in October 2004, Gayheart and Dane have been married for 14 years. In 2018, they announced their separation, citing irreconcilable reasons. Georgia Dane, 10, and Billie Beatrice Dane, 12, are the two children of the ex-husband. Gayheart requested joint legal and physical custody of their two daughters as well as spousal support during the divorce. Gayheart and Dane are apparently great co-parents and on good terms.

Four years after the couple broke up, on August 15, 2022, the family was spotted taking a vacation in France. Gayheart sent images to Instagram of their trip. “This is us family vacation 2022,” she captioned the photo. In the photo, the “Euphoria” actor is seen standing in front of the rest of the family with his arms outstretched and a beaming expression on his face. The family are shown walking down a street in France as Georgia, Billie and Gayheart are seen in the distance. Dane said he and Gayheart were friends in 2019 “We have two kids. It lacks sophistication… It doesn’t have to be. Gayheart admitted that co-parenting was “difficult”, forcing her to take on many responsibilities on her own. She remarked, “I basically raised my kids on my own. It’s been difficult because of the pandemic and social distancing. But it’s fantastic that they’re here with me. They stayed at the same place quite frequently.
The former couple have come a long way. Gayheart had previously been romantically involved with producer and director Brett Ratner, who was accused of sexual harassment by six women. On the day she arrived in New York in 1986, Gayheart, then 15, had already met Ratner, then 17. Ratner directed Gayheart for her first role in a student short, and the two dated for thirteen years. In 1997, she and Ratner got engaged.
Nine-year-old Jorge Cruz Jr. was killed in a car accident Gayheart was involved in in 2001. She was sentenced to three years probation, a one-year license suspension, a $2,800 and 750 hours of community service after pleading no contest to manslaughter on Nov. 27, 2001. Ratner was at his side as they entered the courtroom. The two eventually decided to go their separate ways later on for unknown reasons.
Dane, the ‘Euphoria’ star, battled severe depression and drug addiction. In an interview with TODAY in 2017, Dane later said, “It’s a pretty serious situation. “I felt really conflicted as I couldn’t identify the source of my depression, despite it being very genuine. The scary part is when you wake up and say, “I don’t want to get out of bed.
2009 saw the leak and posting on the now defunct website Gawker of a controversial naked bathtub movie starring Dane and Gayheart with former Miss US Teen Kari Ann Peniche. The ‘Euphoria’ star delayed making a statement about the recording to the public for several years. He did, however, eventually address it in a 2014 interview, calling it his “only regret.” He admitted to making blunders to People. My only regret is that Rebecca, whom I adore above all else, got caught up in it all.
In a statement to E! News at the time of their breakup, they promised to “maintain our relationship” and “work together as a team to co-parent our two beautiful children because they are the most important thing in the world to us.”
Dane spoke about the leaked video in his interview with Glamour, saying, “I often wonder about the answer I gave. And now that I think about it, was that a mistake? Without a doubt.
