The first official cast photo of the upcoming Disney Plus series Percy Jackson and the Olympians was released to coincide with the main character’s birthday.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians is an all-new live-action adaptation of the book series of the same name. The series has previously been adapted as a short-lived film series, with a first film released in 2010 followed by a sequel in 2013.
The series will stream on Disney Plus and will see The Adam Project star Walker Scobell playing the role of Percy Jackson.
Fans of the book series will know that Percy Jackson’s birthday is August 18 and so, to mark the occasion, the first official on-set photo of the main cast from the Disney Plus series has been released.
The new image shows Walker Scobell alongside Leah Jeffries, who plays Annabeth Chase on the show, and Aryan Simhadri, who plays Grover Underwood. The photo marks the first official look at the cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians on set and in costume.
