Marvel’s Shang-Chi actor Simu Liu has shared a hilarious reaction to an image of Kang actor Jonathan Majors’ impressive physique on the set of Creed III.
Simu Liu joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Shang-Chi last year Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which ended with a tease that he would soon be joining the Avengers. However, Liu doesn’t like the chances of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against Jonathan Majors’ Kang.
Reacting to an image of Majors from the set of Creed III online, Simu Liu shared his fear for his Marvel co-stars when they face off against Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
Taking to Twitter, Simu Liu shared an image of a shirtless Jonathan Majors looking buff and furious, captioning it “brother, the Avengers are downright oblivious”.

While Jonathan Majors made his MCU debut in Lokiwhere he played the variation of Kang known as He Who Remains, he will first appear as Kang the Conqueror himself next year Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He will face the Avengers in 2025 Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
With Thanos defeated and the MCU entering The Multiverse Saga, Kang looks set to be a major player in Marvel’s next slate of movie and streaming projects. The time-traveling villain appears in multiple forms across the multiverse in the comics, and Kevin Feige has confirmed that multiple variants of Kang will appear in the MCU.
Meanwhile, it’s not yet known when Simu Liu might be considered next as Shang-Chi in the MCU. However, after Marvel Studios’ recent appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, the actor hinted that a few Shang-Chi crossover appearances were in the works.
