Breaking the 4th wall in She-Hulk
Before Ryan Reynolds decided to do the unthinkable move of playing Deadpool, it was She-Hulk who started the tradition of breaking the fourth wall long before Deadpool. Jon Bryne’s 1989 comics Sensational She-Hulk saw the titular character of Jeniffer Walters aka She-Hulk interact with audiences/readers.

Being fully aware that she is in a comic book, the lawyer would often engage in a humorous situation to interact with the audience and was often self-aware of her role as a comic book character.
This trend has become very popular with the release of dead Pool in 2016. Wade Wilson’s disfigured face caused the character to rage during times of stress and being aware of his surroundings, i.e. being aware of being in a comic book/movie. This would prove to be a successful decision for the people of She-Hulk since the breaking of the fourth wall was observed in the first episode of the series.

While being true to the comics, Bruce Banner’s cousin interacts and engages with audiences and occasionally breaks the fourth wall. Portrayed by Tatiana Maslany, She-Hulk is seen talking about her feelings, emotions, and what she often thinks with the audience. Therefore, fans couldn’t help but notice that She-Hulk is a friendlier version of the Merc with a mouth, Deadpool. Since the recent hype around a potential release of Dead Pool 3it would be fun to watch if the two characters met in the MCU.
