Grete Šadeiko was born on May 29, 1993, in Turi, Estonia, to parents David Šadeiko and Gritas Šadeiko; she has an older sister, Grit Šadeiko, and a younger sister, Jade Šadeiko. Grete is an athlete in the sport of heptathlon in Estonia, who has participated in several international competitions, including the Junior World Championships and the European U23 Championships.
