Recently at the premiere of She-HulkHulk actor Mark Ruffalo revealed he was disappointed as Hulk was kept out of Thor: Love and Thunder. Thor and Hulk’s friendship is one of the most iconic things in the MCU. This friendship was given more prominence in director Taika Waititi Thor: Ragnarok which is also the film that revived the franchise. Taika Waititi added a unique approach to the film by introducing his style of direction and humor into the film. There’s no denying that the film’s comedic approach was also complemented by the dynamic of their friendship and so it didn’t take long to become a fan favorite.

Mark Ruffalo misses Hulk and Thor fighting together
At the She-Hulk premiere, when Mark Ruffalo was spotted, he was asked about his bond blockbuster with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and if one day we can find the characters back together in the MCU. To this, Mark Ruffalo replied that he was very disappointed when MCU did not consider placing the two characters together in MCU:
“Yeah, I was disappointed not to be in Love and Thunder but uh, but I still love him and we’re gonna do more thunder”
Although there are currently no official reports regarding the Hulk reuniting with the God of Thunder, so it will be difficult to say what project they can join hands in, but if all goes well, we could see them again. together in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Mark Ruffalo was recently spotted in the first episode of the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Lawyer alongside Tatiana Maslany. The web series centers on her cousin Jennifer Walters and her superhero life as a She-Hulk.

Now it’s no secret how Thor: Love and Thunder failed to impress the audience and left a lackluster impression. Fans were completely shocked and disappointed as they couldn’t believe the movie would be like this. It was heavily criticized for its overuse of humor and lack of story depth.
Now, while it’s not possible to confirm whether Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk could have made a very big difference in the movie or not, we sure could have gotten something different. Plus, the Thor and Hulk dynamic was well established in Ragnarok so his appearance here might have improved Thor’s story and character.
Although there are no confirmed reports, Thor: Love and Thunder will likely be available on Disney+ from August 24, 2022.
