‘She-Hulk’ Easter Egg Hints Wolverine May Already Exist In The MCU

She-Hulk: Lawyer has confirmed that perhaps the X-Men’s most famous mutant, Wolverine, is already active in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

SPOILERS FOLLOW FOR SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW EPISODE 2!

After Jennifer Walters by Tatiana Maslany, the cousin of Bruce Banner by Mark Ruffalo, She-Hulk: Lawyer is full of Marvel references and Easter eggs. Episode 2 contains a nod to Logan, the first sign of one of the X-Men living in the MCU’s 616 universe.

The moment is fleeting, but a few eagle-eyed Marvel fans grabbed it, right next to a nod to an important Eternals an event.

Wolverine’s tease can be seen on Jennifer Walters’ laptop in the second episode of She-Hulk: Lawyer.

After transforming into She-Hulk to stop the villainous Titania in court in the show’s first episode, Jen finds herself out of a job. After saving the life of the jury, a trial was declared a mistrial and Jen’s law firm ruled she was a liability. This leads her to desperately seek new work.

After being rejected by countless law firms, Jen is seen reading an article online titled “10 Quirky Jobs for a Fresh Start.” A list of related articles on the side of the screen teases Wolverine’s presence in the MCU, as well as confirmation of the petrified Celestial seen in Eternals has not been forgotten.

Check out this screenshot of the items appearing on Jen’s laptop in She-Hulk:

“Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl” is a pretty clear nod to Wolverine. While there’s no word on when the X-Men might appear in the MCU, it’s obviously on Marvel’s mind, with the groundwork already laid.

“Why is there a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean” seems to refer to the Celestial who began to emerge from the Earth’s core in Eternals. Since the Celestial has been rendered harmless and is located in the Indian Ocean, American characters in the MCU have little reason to reference it, but this easter egg at least confirms that it continues to raise questions online.

Here is the synopsis of She-Hulk: Lawyer:

“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single thirty-something lawyer who also happens to be a 6-foot-7 green superpowered hulk.”

Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Lawyer stars Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
