The cancellation of bat girl by Warner Bros. Discovery drew widespread criticism for its unfavorable attitude towards the cast and crew. Many fans are against this decision by WBD as they feel that the studio did not take into account the hard work of the officials connected to it. Now, according to a report, another story has emerged where the father of a little girl who played a small role in the film has asked the studio to send him photos of her scenes.

The heartbreaking story of the girl from Glasgow
Batgirl’s production is largely based in Glasgow as the city is very well suited to be a very accurate visualization of the city of Gotham. Apart from the main cast and crew, there are many other stories that are also unknown, but their contribution to the film is just as important as the rest. A similar story surfaced recently as a Glasgow resident whose daughter played a small role in the film pleaded with WBD for photos of his daughter:
“David Zaslav, @wbd @wbpictures if you’re going ahead with the complete scrapping of Batgirl, can I at least have some pictures of my daughter Isla in her scenes to show her mom, sisters, etc., photos were taken the day it was shot and I was promised they would be returned to me.
Daughter Isla Neil didn’t even think about being an actress until one day she went with her dad to check on the set where the directors asked her to star in the movie in a minor role.

The heartbroken dad expressed how thrilled his daughter was to star in a movie and she was even excited for all her family and friends to watch her in the movie, but now, sadly, it’s all in vain:
“Isla was over the moon. It was moving to see them together. It’s just a shame that we don’t have the opportunity to see the film. We had to keep it all a secret for so long. We kept telling Isla ‘you’re going to be on the big screen. We had planned to go to the cinema when the film came out and she wanted her friends to see her in the film.
The story went on to reveal how extremely upset the youngster was to learn that she would never be able to meet Leslie Grace again and her dreams of appearing in the big premiere are also shattered:
“She was upset, really upset that she was abandoned, but she has memories she will never forget. She also said ‘I will never see Leslie Grace again’ because she was hoping to go to the premiere and see her again. I was completely disgusted too. I expected to see my little girl on screen in a real movie.
Now the man wants a picture so he can at least keep a memory of his daughter playing in a movie and so the rest of the family members can see her look as well.
This isn’t the first time someone has called out David Zaslav over the cancellation controversy. Earlier, too, a co-star called him a “fool” for his actions.

Is there a chance for Batgirl’s revival?
Batgirl was dropped by the studio after garnering terrible reviews during its test screenings. The movie that was set to be released on HBO Max was trashed to save money.
Depending on the revival of the movie, there is extremely little to no chance of the movie coming back. Recently, even director duo Adil and Billal revealed that they tried to grab the movie from the production servers, but couldn’t:
“Everything was gone. We were… ‘F**ing sh*t!’… We didn’t even keep [the scenes] with Batman in it”,
So there may be a good chance that the studio even destroyed the existing footage of the film, but it is truly heartbreaking to know about the terrible waste of people’s precious time and hard work.
