Top 10 Ghost Riders
One of the most common and favorite characters in comics, Ghost Rider has many different people wielding power and many other variations as well.
Of all the Ghost Riders present, we will now rank the top 10 in this article.
10. Michael Badilino Ghost Rider
Michael Badilino, also known as Vengeance in his Ghost Rider form, first started out as an antagonist, falling in love with a scheme by Mephisto and attempting to kill Johnny Blaze.
Later proving to be an ally of Johnny Blaze, he had aided the Ghost Rider in various other situations and even sacrificed himself to kill Hellgate. However, he later returned to help Ghost Rider foil Blackheart’s plans and ended up defeating Blackheart.
Revenge is geared more towards a hero than an antagonist, which has been proven over time and many times.
9. Noble Cabbage
One of the oldest Ghost Riders, Noble Kale Ghost Rider was born under very unusual circumstances. He has no human form and was left in a vacuum, after his father, who was a secret disciple of Mephisto, killed his wife and child and attempted to sell his soul to Mephisto.
He did not reappear until he possessed Daniel Ketch and aided him in his Ghost Rider adventures.
8. Deputy Kowalski
Also known as Vengeance or Green Ghost Rider, the Deputy had first grown to hate Ghost Rider following an incident in his investigation, when he encountered Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider used the Penance Gaze after the Deputy stabbed him and left him alone.
Later, he was approached by Michael Badilino to help with the Deputy’s hunt for Ghost Rider. After his second encounter, a fraction of Ghost Rider’s power remained within him, turning him into Vengeance. He was then later recruited by Blackheart to join a team opposed to Ghost Rider.
7. Ghost Rider 1,000,000 BC
The oldest Ghost Rider, who used a mammoth to travel in his Ghost Rider form, was a normal cave boy until his tribe was slaughtered by a mysterious person who was revealed to be a Wendigo and the reason for transformation into Spirit of Vengeance.
Years later, during the process of his revenge, Wendigo pushed his mammoth off a cliff, he was then approached by Odin and Lady Phoenix to join Prehistoric Avengers. They had even fought a Celestial Fallen and locked him in an underground chamber.
6. Red Hulk and Venom Ghost Rider
In one comic issue, Red Hulk, Venom, and Ghost Rider had coalesced to put a stop to Blackheart’s plan once and for all, and in which they successfully stopped Blackheart from doing any further damage.
This version looks quite powerful with the combined power of three different entities and the array of combined abilities, which throw opponents into chaos.
5.Alejandra Jones
Alejandra Jones is probably the most capable Ghost Rider as she was trained from childhood to be the next Ghost Rider.
She was chosen as the next Ghost Rider from the contestants and was imbued with the power of Spirit of Vengeance. She had helped fend off many threats and fought against many foes along with fellow Ghost Riders Danny Ketch and Johnny Blaze.
4. Robbie Reyes
The fifth global character to be dubbed the Ghost Rider, Robbie is more of an unconventional Ghost Rider, who drives a car instead of a normal bike, possessed by a ghost Eli, who was not a spirit of revenge but a killer satanic. Johnny used a penance stare on Eli and asked Robbie to never use that power again.
Due to other circumstances, Robbie had to fully merge with Eli and played a major role in many Avengers battles, as well as the Dark Celestials invasion. Robbie doesn’t fit into a hero or villain role because his only wish is to create a better world for his brother Gabe.
3. Danny Ketch
The long-lost brother of Johnny Blaze and inheriting the spirit of Noble Kale has very identical abilities to Johnny Blaze and was an important part of the Midnight Sons and New Fantastic Four teams.
Danny Ketch had protected himself from various threats and would also have made his first on-screen appearance on the show. Agatha: Chaos Covenmaybe also for the Midnight Sons team.
2. Cosmic Ghost Rider
An alternate version of Earth, where Thanos had successfully conquered Earth and Punisher was the last of the lot. After being sent to Hell, he signed a deal with Mephisto to become Ghost Rider. He had only one goal, to punish Thanos for the destruction he had done.
After eventually tracking Thanos with the help of Galactus, he joined Thanos after Galactus was killed by the mighty titan, Thanos presented a fragment of the Time Stone to the Ghost Rider to meet a younger version of Thanos.
Punisher tried a lot of things trying to get back to baby Thanos to try and raise him, which only made things worse and Thanos ended up being more evil.
1. Johnny Blaze
Who doesn’t love the original and iconic Ghost Rider, Johnathan Johnny Blaze? Being an essential part of many teams and also taking the throne of the King of Hell, his abilities are unmatched and very powerful, setting a standard for the title of anyone who becomes a Ghost Rider.
Despite all these versions of Ghost Rider, the original still stands above all these characters.
