James Gunn is one of the craziest, most unique directors of recent times. His field of work is very broad and he has managed to deliver some of the most original projects to us. Now new information has also been revealed to the public as the director himself has revealed that there is a certain list of stars he never wants to work with. Just a few days ago something similar was also done by Brad Pitt where he talked about some actors he avoids.

James Gunn has no time for assholes
The director has worked on many projects, including Marvel and DC, and has always spoken his mind. From his light-hearted approach in Marvel’s guardians of the galaxy to dark humor and violence in DC The Suicide Squad and the Peacemakerhe showed that he was an expert in his field.
Recently, during a Q&A session on Twitter, a fan asked if he would give an actor a chance who can’t train for several reasons. To this, James Gunn replied that he would definitely not allow it if there were serious issues with their temperament and that’s why he has a long list of actors he doesn’t want to work with:
If it’s their temper and it’s serious, I’ll recast immediately. Life is too short for assholes. Ditto if they are repeatedly very late, which I hate, or unprepared. I have a long list of actors, A-list & otherwise, that I will never work with for these reasons… https://t.co/dwl66e03oK

But it would be too quick to judge James Gunn on that same statement as he also added that if their performance is very good, he himself will make sure they perform. according to him, if the actor gives the best of himself and that the project requires it, then he never redo:
But if it’s performance related and they’re putting their all into it, I’ll do my best to make it work until it’s absolutely clear that the quality of the project will be noticeably affected if we don’t let’s not redo. It can happen with really talented actors who just don’t fit.

Additionally, that conversation continued when Gunn was asked how he knew if an actor was an asshole or not, to which he replied:
I always do due diligence on actors and production managers with directors, actors, producers and crew members I trust. If they turn out to be jerks (not just grumpy or grumpy, but real jerks) or irresponsible, I don’t hire them. Some actors I already know never even considered. https://t.co/VwGxVn02gT

Although James Gunn showcased his distaste for working with many top actors, he also praised many of those who worked on his projects.

James Gunn on John Cena
In the middle of this conversation alone, a fan asked James Gunn if he thought John Cena was always on time and if he was an ideal actor in Gunn’s eyes. The Peacemaker The director responded to this by congratulating John Cena that he is one of the best he has worked with and is always ready to:

John Cena was widely appreciated for his role as Peacemaker. According to reports with a season 2 of it, a lot more The Suicide Squad spinoffs are in development under James Gunn.
