She got the life-changing call just before making her debut in The Personal History of David Copperfield at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival. Morfydd passed out on stage because she was so excited.

Although Clark’s parents spoke English at home, his maternal grandparents were farmers in North Wales and spoke Welsh as their first language.
Morfydd, brought up in Penarth, is very proud to be Welsh. His aunt and uncle own the farm near Corwen where his grandfather was born, where his parents and sister still live.
