James Gunn has revealed the runtime of his upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special for Disney+.
Before audiences find Star-Lord, Drax, Groot, Rocket, Nebula and Mantis in theaters next summer, viewers will have the chance to experience a new adventure with them from the comfort of their homes thanks to the next film from James Gunn Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney+.
The special will take place some time after the events of Thor: Love and Thunder and as a prelude to the long-awaited Flight. 3. The Guardians recently made an appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder. Here is the synopsis:
The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on an unprecedented journey – a quest for inner peace. But his retreat is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magic hammer, Mjolnir, as Mighty. Thor. Together they embark on a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s revenge and stop him before it’s too late.
