Wonders director Nia DaCosta described the upcoming sequel as “complete comic book madness.”
Marvel Studios revealed a lot about their plans in the Multiverse Sagabut Wonders was the one who provided nothing. Kevin Feige and the studio will present on Saturday at D23, where it seems almost a given that more will finally be shared about Wondersincluding some pictures for those present.

Wonders will bring together Carol Danvers from Brie Larson, Kamala Khan from Iman Vellani and Monica Rambeau from Teyonah Parris. A video released at Marvel Studios booth D23 featured a small teaser for the Captain Marvel after. In the video, director Nia DaCosta called the film “complete comic book madness”. DaCosta could be referring to something rumored that there will be a musical number in the sequel.

“Ms. Marvel” is a new original series that features Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. The series stars Iman Vellani, Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat and Farhan Akhtar. Episodes of the series were directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, with Bisha K. Ali serving as head writer. Marvel’s Kevin Feige is involved with the series as an executive producer.
