New pictures of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Stone heart screened exclusively at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA.
Marvel Studios held a presentation at Expo D23 2022, in which new images from their upcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and new series Stone heart was projected. Ryan Coogler returns to direct the sequel to his acclaimed 2018 film and will also serve as executive producer on Disney Plus’ latest original series, which will star Dominique Thorne, who will debut in Coogler’s sequel.
The images projected at Expo D23 for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever featured the Queen (Angela Basset) confronting the governments of the world over their refusal to share Vibranium with the rest of the world, which also features footage in which a special ops team attempts to break into a facility that holds. Naturally, the Dora Milaje slaughters these soldiers. Meanwhile, footage featuring Namor, the Submarine (Tenoch Huerta) has also been released, in which he is shown fighting with M’Baku (Winston Duke).
In exclusive images from Stone heart, Jim Rash reprises his role as Captain America: Civil War, and is shown browsing RiRi Williams’ projects. In the heights star Anthony Ramos is confirmed to play The Hood, and footage of RiRi forging his armor is also shown.

In Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers following the death of King T’Challa. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and chart a new course for the kingdom of Wakanda.
