‘It Hasn’t Happened For Very Long’: Marvel Studios Apparently Not Interested In Introducing The X-Men Anytime Soon

Marvel Studios has revealed a bunch of exciting details about its future at D23 Expo. Starting with night werewolf at Ant Man 3 at Loki 2 and Stone heart, several updates released have puzzled the public. But the MCU has remained silent on one of the most anticipated projects, Mutants. Fans eagerly wanted to see an update on their beloved X-Men, but they weren’t even mentioned there. Now, if reports are to be believed, Marvel Studios isn’t interested in bringing them out anytime soon.

X-Men is very far away right now

Marvel Studios is going to release a trainload of projects in the coming years. After the conclusion of phase 4 with wakanda foreverthe upcoming Phase 5 is jam-packed with projects leading up to the climax of this vast multiverse saga in Phase 6. According to reports, MCU won’t be introducing the X-Men amidst this hectic schedule.

In the words of Deadline’s Justin Kroll, even if a writer is hired by Marvel Studios, the movie is still miles away. It looks like the project won’t have any updates until we near the conclusion of Phase 6.

Although the odds are pretty slim, X-Men could also belong to one of those Phase 6 projects that has yet to be announced. Or we can also spot them at the end of Avengers: Secret Wars and they can participate in the pilot phase 7.

Specifically, they’ll use these little tropes to slowly establish them until they get their own project.

Now, while these are small steps, fans should remember that the MCU has mastered making such small connections between various projects.
