Marvel Studios has announced one of the most anticipated MCU films, Love at first sight, at the D23 exhibition. The studio has released the film’s cast which includes seven crew members. Many of them were the same as fans expected them to be, but not all of the characters were the same as fans expected them to be. This led fans to believe that they could see the characters they had been waiting for in the movie. Love at first sight features seven members, Yelena Belovo, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Ghost, Taskmaster, and US Agent.

Thunderbolts Cast Revealed at D23 Expo
After the first look and casting of Love at first sight were revealed, fans were happy but somewhat disappointed not to see some expected faces. After his appearance as Emil Blonsky/Abomination in She-Hulk, fans expected to see Abomination in the movie.
But after the casting reveal, those who expected to see him in the film’s cast were left disappointed. Abomination isn’t the only character fans expect to see in the film. The other two most anticipated characters were Baron Zemo and Thunderbolt Ross.
Zemo and Ross were the characters that formed Love at first sight at different points in time. However, since none of them were introduced to the cast, fans wondered who would put this team together.
Twitter post confirming Zemo in Thunderbolts
Now, a Twitter post from Marvel Updates has shared that Zemo will be part of the film and the studio has confirmed it. The message reads: “Marvel Studios has confirmed that Zemo will be part of Love at first sight by inserting his name in the link dedicated to the presentation of the team. “
The message comes out two days after the Expo. Although Marvel itself hasn’t made any official announcement about it, fans seem happy with the news.
It is assumed that Marvel Studios did not include him in the D23 Expo cast because they wanted to build hype. And it might have worked, as fans started asking about the character as soon as the film’s cast was revealed. After appearing in Captain America: Civil War for the first time, Baron Zemo was seen alongside Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
While some are excited to see Zemo appear in the movie, that may or may not be accurate. Ever since Marvel revealed Phases 5 and 6 of the MCU and Love at first sight as part of Phase 5, assumptions about who will lead the team of supervillains were made. One name that kept coming up was Yelena Belovo. It was even more hyped after the first look at the cast.

Who will recruit the Thunderbolts?
So far we have seen some team members together but not as a team. US Agent, The Winter Soldier and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine were seen in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. After that, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine was also seen in the post-credits scenes of Black Widow, hinting that Marvel has begun to set up the plot for the members to reunite. But who will recruit them is still an unanswered question.
After getting confirmation that Zemo appears in Love at first sight with a post on Twitter, fans are asking if they did the same with Abomination as well. However, it doesn’t look like Marvel would have hidden these characters from the posters. Manufacturing for Love at first sight will start in 2023.
Love at first sight will be released on July 26, 2022.
